Remarks Inhabits substrates of mixed volcanic sand, borken shells, and coral fragments. Solitary species. Feeds on a wide variety of mysids and benthic organisms which typically occupy algae-covered rocks or rubble, small boulders, corals, or other types of low relief (Ref. 37196).
