Max. size:  7.598 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: River Mengnai, Yunnan Province, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 4-4; Anal soft rays: 10-10
Biology:  Inhabits fast-flowing hill streams which twists its way through dense forest and with river bed composed of large boulders, cobbles, gravel, and sand. Hides under boulders in groups in shallow rapids of hill streams (Ref, 118060).
