| Adults occur in mud-bottomed, sand-bottomed, or rock-bottomed pools of small to large rivers. Also found in lakes, impoundments and ponds (Ref. 54507, 10294). They feed on aquatic insects, small fishes, and snails (Ref. 10294). |
