Family:  Aphaniidae (Oriental killifishes)
Max. size:  6.01 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 2.1 g
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Asia: Central Turkey.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Extinct (EX); Date assessed: 12 March 2013 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
