Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: known only from South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 75; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 38. Yellowish in color.
Biology:  Uncommon species (Ref. 34024), inhabiting rocky tide pools (Ref. 6610).
