Max. size:  3.6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Indonesia and Malaysia (Ref. 26627).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 41-43; Anal soft rays: 42-44; Vertebrae: 74-75. Unpaired fins separate (Ref. 37790).
Biology:  Inhabits dense water stream (pH approximately 3.5) with almost no current in leaf litter among dense grass growth (Ref. 26627).
