Description: Characterized by yellow to yellowish grey-brown body color; narrow brown bar behind eye to gill opening; side of body with indistinct dark blotches, bands and small whitish spots; first dorsal spine shorter than snout length, above center of eye and partially fitting into groove on back; depth of body at anal fin origin 2.1-2.2 in SL; absence of spines on side of caudal peduncle; moderately concave dorsal profile of snout; rounded caudal fin (Ref. 90102). | |||
