Max. size:  11 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: upper Altamaha River drainage in northern central Georgia, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit rocky and sandy pools of creeks and small rivers (Ref. 86798). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 17 November 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
