About 40 lateral scales and 35 predorsal scales, the latter reaching anteriorly between the orbits onto the snout, ending at the level of the anterior nasal openings, a transverse row of cheek papillae between the posterodorsal eye and the upper longitudinal row, another transverse row connecting the two longitudinal rows. | |||
