Family:  Bothidae (Lefteye flounders)
Max. size:  6.9 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 6 - 15 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Hawaii (Ref. 33021) and Isla de Pascua [=Easter Island] (Ref. 33343).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Benthic in shallow water of the surge zone (Ref. 58302). Females mature as small as 2.7 cm (Ref. 89467).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 04 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
