Family:  Percidae (Perches), subfamily: Etheostomatinae
Max. size:  5.4 cm SL (male/unsexed); 4.6 cm (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: known only from upland tributaries of the upper Pond River (Green River system) in Christian, Todd, and extreme southeastern Hopkins Counties, Kentucky, USA.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 9-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-14; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 6-9. Posterior infraorbital pores modally 3; supratemporal canal usually uninterrupted (Ref. 27671).
Biology:  Inhabits rivers (Ref. 27671). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
