Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Luhoho River system, including the rivers Loama and Nyabarongo (Upper Congo River basin), in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 83445). Report from the Rusizi (Ref. 41590) needs confirmation.
