Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: upper Lualaba (Ref. 2266, 2970), Lake Mweru (Ref. 42540, 45616) and the Luapula (Ref. 41590, 45616), up to the Bangweulu-Chambesi area (Ref. 95585) (upper Congo River basin), in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia.
