Max. size:  10.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Lucala (near railway station), above the falls on the Lucala River (Cuanza River basin) in Angola (Ref. 108777). Reported as Varicorhinus cf. stenostoma from the lower Congo River (Ref. 94750); needs confirmation.
