Max. size:  5.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Pacific slope of Panama and Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits tidal freshwater. Collected from white water streams, with boulder and rubble, and sand and mud substrates; no or little vegetation (Ref. 57711).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 28 February 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
