Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed); 13 cm (female)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: southern part of Lake Malawi (Ref. 4991).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Has been seen over sand near rocks. Feeds on small fishes (Ref. 5595).
