Max. size:  35 cm TL (male/unsexed); 36 cm TL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 200 - 1810 m
Distribution:  Southern Ocean: circum-Antarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic, relatively stenothermal species (Ref. 119197). Adults primarily feed on krill and amphipods (Ref. 119197).
