Family:  Pinguipedidae (Sandperches)
Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: southern Japan to Taiwan. Also recorded from Indonesia (Ref. 5978).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits the sublittoral zone on sandy mud bottoms (Ref. 11230).
