| Biology: | Seemingly restricted to the beds of the rootless Ceratophyllum and Najas found at a depth of about 10 m. Probably feeds from the sediment that has accumulated among the weeds. Its long gut may indicate that the species is an herbivore (Ref. 5595). | |||
