Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  North and Central America: Rio Panuco basin in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit warm, calm and vegetated waters (Ref. 50894).
