Distribution:  Africa: upper Congo River basin in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. Pollimyrus stappersii stappersii: Mweru-Luapula-Bangweulu (Ref. 41590, 42135); Pollimyrus stappersii kapangae: upper Lualaba (Ref. 42554) and upper Kasai (Ref. 41590).
