Max. size:  35 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-neritic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Central America to Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found along sandy shores and over mud bottoms in shallow water, in mangrove areas.
