Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  9.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 10 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Indonesia, the Arafura Sea (Ref. 9819) and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs inshore, near reefs (Ref. 7300). Found around outcrops on sand or rubble bottoms (Ref. 9710).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 29 June 2024 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
