Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Irrawaddy to Salween and Tennasserim, Myanmar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in mainstream rivers (Ref. 58784). Feeds on benthic organisms and possibly fishes (Ref. 58784).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 30 October 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
