| Quote | Norman 1926:290;fig.12 reported A. melanostictus from 3 specimens (13-13.2 cm TL), from the 'ENDEAVOUR' collections. Chabanaud (1930b) realized these specimens as new species and described the one available specimen at the British Museum of Natural History (BMNH) and found it to be A. normani. |
