Also in the lake Tanganyika basin (Ref. 36899), but apparently only in lower courses of tributary rivers, including the Malagarasi (Ref. 54847), and not in the lake itself (Ref. 36901). Reports from the Sanaga (Ref. 51193) and Benue (Ref. 42497) in Cameroon questionable and unconfirmed (Ref. 81274, 81635).
