Rather rare (7 to 8 specimens known) maybe due to the very specialized biotope in which Heptapterus longior might be present. It is therefore poorly identified, also considering that the original description, rather poor, identifies it only in comparison with H. longior starting from the size of the adipose fin and the more pointed caudal fin (Ref. 35381).
相當稀有的 (知道的 7 到 8件標本) 也許由於非常特殊化的生存環境在那一個 Heptapterus longior 可能在場。 因此它是貧乏地鑑定, 也就而論最初的描述, 相當少量, 鑑定它用脂鰭與那比較尖的尾鰭 H. longior 出發從大小只在比較中.(參考文獻 35381)
