Bluish-gray with numerous small bronze-yellow spots; ventral part of head and trunk as well as the tip of caudal more bright and with fewer or smaller spots; lips dark brown, nearly black; eye rimmed with black, especially the upper posterior part; pectoral and gill opening brownish yellow; dorsal and anal fins clear with yellow spots, especially basally, the distal end with an interrupted narrow blackish margin (Ref. 31552). Body diameter to about 15 mm (Ref. 48635).
