Etymology: Sternarchorhynchus: Greek, sternon = sternon, + Greek, archos = anus + Greek, rhyngchos = snout (Ref. 45335); villasboasi: Named for Orlando Villa Bôas, who was instrumental in the designation of the Xingu National Park.
